WWE wrestler Jimmy Uso was arrested in the Florida panhandle on Thursday morning, after he was pulled over and refused to take a DUI test.
Uso, whose real name is Jonathan Fatu, was pulled over in the early morning hours when he was stopped by law enforcement near the city of Pensacola, who reported he was driving erratically and, upon further investigation, reeked of alcohol.
Refusing to take a DUI test, the wrestler was arrested on a DUI charge and issued a speeding citation before being released from the Escambia County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
Fatu seems to have a bad relationship with alcohol and police, and is known to display violent characteristics when under the influence. Earlier this year, he “took off his shirt and jacket and squared up like he wanted to fight” Detroit Police during a DUI stop, after they were spotted going the wrong way down a one-way street.
“The male passenger became irate, exited the vehicle, removed his jacket and shirt and assumed a fighting stance,” read a DPD report, obtained by the Detroit Free Press.
According to the New York Post, Fatu is married to WWE starlet Naomi and comes from a family of ringside entertainers. He had been performing shows in Florida prior to his arrest.
