A woman in Oklahoma was shot three times by an officer after she chased him with a baseball balt.
Tulsa police responded to a call after neighbors had been arguing for hours.
When a responding officer approached the scene, a women in her 60s went into her house and returned with a baseball bat.
After exiting her home, she chased the officer with the bat and refused to back down after multple warnings from the officer.
He ultimately fired four rounds at her, striking her three times. Police say she was sent to the hospital and her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, according to KTUL.
“We’re in the process of canvassing all the neighbors here. Seems like the same story is being told the entire time,” said Cpt. Jerrod Hart with the Tulsa Police Department.
The officer has been placed upon paid leave while Tulsa Police Department investigates the shooting.
