
A Tennessee woman accused of multiple armed carjackings reportedly used her 5-year-old daughter as a human shield prior to her arrest.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, located on the Tennessee side of the Fort Campbell Army post, took Bethany Wilson into custody on Thursday.
The arrest followed a dramatic series of consecutive carjackings that ended up in a crash.
Aside from the one vehicle involved in the crash, all vehicles have been recovered in one piece.
During the series of auto thefts, Wilson fired a single shot at one victim, using her daughter as a human shield to avoid being shot after he produced a firearm.
