A Birmingham woman was arrested at Miami International Airport after witnesses said she threw a computer monitor at an American Airlines ticket agent.
The Miami Herald reported the incident happened Tuesday afternoon.
Camila McMillie, 25, has been charged with aggravated battery, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
According to police, McMillie, who was passing through Miami on a connecting flight to New York City, became agitated when her two children walked away to use the restrooms.
As she was being rebooked for missing her flight, she began to scream, “demanding the gate agent to find her children,” police said.
On a video posted to the Instagram account “onlyindade,” McMillie can be heard saying “find my children.”
According to police, McMillie pulled the boarding pass reader off the counter, damaging the equipment and counter area, then grabbed the computer monitor and threw it at the gate agent.
The gate agent suffered bruising to her shoulder, the newspaper reported.
