A Florida woman with a penchant for smoking cigarettes broke into a car over the weekend to catch some sleep- and nearly immolated herself in the process.

Body camera footage from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies approaching the woman, who sat confused inside a smoke-filled car with a smashed windshield and was unable to unlock the door.

The car belonged to an Ocala dealership and was full of smoke because the woman had flicked a lit cigarette inside the car before dozing off.

Waking up in a panic, the woman reportedly smashed at the windshield in an attempt to escape.

Deputy Jarrick Donely provided overwatch as Sergeant Micah Moore instructed the woman -identified as Dolores A. Graham- in how to unlock the door and exit the vehicle.

Upon Graham’s exit, a fire extinguisher was used to put out the fire and Graham was peacefully hauled off to Marion County Jail. She has been charged with Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure and Felony Criminal Mischief.
