Winnipeg police apologized today for a very embarrassing and public incident. The crew of Winnipeg Police Service helicopter Air 1 inadvertently turned on the public address system and broadcast while they had a conversation about oral sex.
#Winnipeg, please accept our sincerest apologies for last night’s conversation that was broadcast via Air 1. #whoops http://t.co/Gvka7fTaCy

According to Constable Jason Michalyshen, “Some content of the conversation was inappropriate. The involved members were not able to hear the public address system from within the aircraft. They became aware their conversation had been broadcast and immediately turned the system off.”
According to CBC News, one witness heard one officer ask “Can you give me a blowjob?” To which another officer replied, “you have too much body hair.”
In what might have been a largely unnoticed broadcast, some Twitter users happened to hear some of the conversation, and tweeted about it with some clever hashtags, and suddenly every news outlet in Winnipeg, and soon most of Canada was talking about it.
Does the #Winnipeg chopper realize the entire West End can hear their convo about blow jobs right now? @winnipeg311#speakerphone#whoops
