The Henderson Police Department has released body cam video of a fatal officer-involved shooting that happened in February.
According to Fox 5 Vegas, police were called to the home about a domestic violence situation. Once on scene, police were immediately confronted by a man armed with a knife.
The man’s sister had told dispatchers her brother was having a “psychotic break” and that she thought he had killed their parents.
Officers used 40mm “less-lethal” shots after the man, who was later identified as Stephen Douris, refused to comply.
He did eventually die on the scene.
The officers have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
