A DC-area police dog went missing on Tuesday but later returned, according to authorities in Virginia’s Fairfax County.

K-9 Browser and another dog went missing around noon after managing to escape their handler’s yard, according to Fairfax County Police.

The duo were not gone terribly long, according to The Washington Post, and managed to walk back home before 9:30 PM.

Browser is described by his agency as a “one-year-old black lab” who is “very friendly.”
