Youtuber and video game streamer Etika was caught on in viral video attacking an NYPD officer in the middle of a sidewalk and then running away.
No one knows why Etika struck the officer, but a short time later a group of cops were outside his apartment.
He took to Twitter and streamed the confrontation live.
He shouted at the cops telling them that people were calling the cops on him and trying to hurt him because he “makes a lot of money” and “makes a lot of porn.”
Officers did eventually breach his apartment and carried him away on a stretcher.
He posted a photo on Twitter later the next day showing he had been taken to a mental hospital instead of jail.
No word if he will face any charges for assaulting an officer.
