NYPD is searching for a man who savagely beat his Lyft driver in the middle of a ride because he wouldn’t drive faster.
According to NBC New York, Eduardo Madiedo was taking the man and an older woman to Mount Sinai Hospital in Queens.
The man is clearly distressed in the video. He was laying down in the backseat and moaning at times.
He eventually takes his shirt off and asks the driver to speed up.
When Madiedo says he can’t, the man starts throwing punches at Madiedo’s head.
Both the woman and the man then get out of the car and run off.
Police are searching for the attacker and Lyft has confirmed the woman who booked the ride has been banned.
