The Los Angeles Police Department has released surveillance video showing a knife-wielding suspect lunging at officers before he was shot dead.
In the video, you can see Wilfredo Hernandez flash the knife in his right hand and make slashing gestures as officers surround him.
According to KTLA, an officer tried to use a stun gun to take Hernandez down, but it had no effect.
Hernandez then charged at officers who opened fire, killing him.
He had been arrested before on trespassing and drug possession.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
