Surveillance video has just been released of a fatal shooting that took place last month at a gas station in Elmwood Park, Illinois.
43-year-old Ronald Morales approached a car that was at a gas pump and drew his gun and opened the passenger door. The driver, watching this happen, grabbed his firearm and the two fired multiple shots at each other, according to reports.
Morales ran away after being shot and the driver sped away. Morales later died from his wounds.
However, with the video to corroborate witness statements and the driver’s account of the incident, no charges will be filed as the driver acted in self defense.
