Sheriff’s deputies in Delaware County, Ohio were sent on an early morning chase as an intoxicated driver lead them through grass, mud, and fields as he tried to escape.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, dispatch started receiving calls around 7:30 a.m. about a truck cutting through back roads and fields.
When deputies tried to pull him over, he went off-roading instead.
It took officers 40 minutes before they were able to pin Joseph Fisher in and arrest him at gunpoint.
The 20-year-old has been charged with OVI, failure to obey, and several other charges.
Some of the patrol vehicles were also damaged in the chase.
