An investigation is underway into a Penn Police officer’s actions after a video goes viral showing the officer tasing a man in his 60’s after he refused to step out of the car.
According to WCAU, the man was pulled over Monday on a road near Drexel University.
In the video, you can hear the man asking the officer what he had did to warrant a traffic stop; that’s when the officer quickly pulled his taser out and shocked the man.
The man has been arrested and charged with DUI.
Penn police say they are now investigating their officer’s actions.
Drexel University and Penn University are just blocks away from each other and campus police often patrol areas near or around campus.
