A man of thirty years -who weighed over 400 pounds- became a big liability for a Georgia Sheriff’s Department, after footage of him being tased during a struggle was released by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Tuesday.

Charles Williams died in the custody of Auburn Police and Barrow County Deputies late last January after being hauled in for battery on a woman and cruelty to children.

Agitated and physically causing a scene before he even made it into the jail, video footage shows deputies tasing Williams after he was found kicking the interior of the patrol vehicle and being belligerent.

Williams was not tased without warning. One deputy can clearly be heard saying, “Sir, you’re gonna be tased if you don’t cooperate.”

Williams continued to struggle and was subsequently tased, as promised.

Suddenly, Williams was beyond subdued- the 400-pound man was dead.

While deputies attempted CPR, an ambulance was summoned to transport him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to ABC News, Attorney Rod Dixon is representing the family of Williams. He believes the incident stemmed from Williams’ belief that a woman across his street was assaulting her children and that his behavior resulted from claustrophobia.
