The Deputy Police Chief of New York’s Auburn Police Department has been charged with a DWI, according to local officials.
44-year-old Roger Anthony reportedly blew a 0.18 when he was discovered driving erratically in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday morning, according to New York State Police personnel.
CIty Manager Jeff Dyget said that APD Chief Shawn Butler informed him of the charges -consisting of aggravated DWI and unsafe lane change- on Saturday morning.
According to the Auburn Citizen, Anthony was named deputy chief in July of last year and has been an officer since 1997.
