After investigating the incident, Little Caesars has fired the two girls who refused to serve Dora Police Sgt. Ronnie Phillips last week.

“Two employees did refuse service to the police officer,” Proctor told Fox News. “We don’t tolerate this. We are proud to serve those who tirelessly serve us, and we always strive to do our best.”

Employees of a Little Caesars Pizza northwest of Birmingham refused to serve a uniformed sergeant with the Dora Police Department last night.

While waiting in line, Sgt. Ronnie Phillips (a 20-year veteran of the force and a U.S. Navy veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm and in the Persian Gulf during the Somalia incident) noticed 2 girls working there that were outside taking orders from the line of cars.

As Sgt. Phillips approached they turned and went inside and had a man come from back of the restaurant to take his order.  When Sgt. Phillips got to the window, both of the young women ignored him. “When I pulled on up to the window both of the females stood by the window and walked back and fourth but refused to take my order take my money or anything,” Phillips said in a social media post.

Sgt. Phillips continued, “People tell police that we are suppose to be thick skinned and not let stuff get to us!!!! It just…… well honestly PISSES ME OFF!!!! Having said all of this, the manager was very polite when I went back in to cancel my order and get my money back!!!!! I have to be fair to her and the young man that waited on me in line and at the window.

After the incident started gaining steam on social media, the corporate office contacted Sgt. Phillips and apologized, stating that the two employees in question have been disciplined. The corporate representative also stated that this type of behavior would not be tolerated.
