Law Enforcement agencies in New Mexico are reporting that at least three are dead and more than a dozen injured in a shooting attack at the Aztec High School in Northwest New Mexico.
The shooter is one of the deceased.
Fox News is reporting 12 were also injured in the shooting but that number is being disputed by local media.

The San Juan County Sheriff Department is reporting that the shooter involved in the attack at Aztec High School is down, with at least two wounded. Deputies are currently in the process of clearing the school.
On Facebook, the SJCSO made it very clear that classes would not resume for the day.
“Parents of Aztec High School students please meet at Aztec Police Department to pick up your kids,” the post wrote.
Some locals are shocked that such a thing could take place in their hometown.
“Naively, I never thought this could happen in our community,” Denise Pruett said in reply to SJCSO’s post. “My thoughts are with the families, students and staff. Deeply sad.”
According to KRQE, other area schools have been placed on lockdown as well, including in nearby Bloomfield.
