UPDATE (11:40 a.m. EST): Clark County Sheriff has updated the number of verified deceased to 58 and the number of wounded to 515.
UPDATE (8:54 a.m. EST): Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo has confirmed there are over 400 people injured and over 50 deceased following last night’s massacre. Lombardo stated that the shooter, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, killed himself as officers breached his hotel room. 10 weapons, mostly rifles were found in Paddock’s 32nd floor Mandalay Bay hotel room.

A gunman opened fire with an automatic weapon on a crowd of people attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival from an elevated room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, which overlooked the concert. As of this publication over 50 people have been killed and over 200 injured in the worst mass shooting in American history.
Country music star Jason Aldean was on stage performing when the gunman, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire.

Paddock is deceased and was found with an ‘arsenal’ of weapons and ammo.
His roommate is now being sought by authorities. She is identified as Marilou Danley, a middle-aged woman of Asian decent. It’s being reported that she is also a former police officer.
Several law enforcement officers, on and off-duty have been shot. Two have been confirmed killed and another is is critical condition. This number will likely rise as new information becomes available.
