At least two law enforcement officers were shot in the line of duty this morning and a US Marshal has died from his wounds.
At least two officers were taken to local hospitals after a gunman opened fire on them while serving a warrant.
One individual not affiliated with the department was shot by police during the exchange, according to Penn Live. It’s being reported that the suspect is currently in a house in the neighborhood where the shooting took place. Law enforcement and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team are clearing residences near where the suspect is located.
Local news station WGAL reports that a large police presence is still in the area, and several ambulances were on-site.
