Update (3:03 p.m. EST) The suspect has been shot and killed by police, ending the active shooter situation. 4 people were wounded and have been transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

There is currently a massive police response to reports of an active shooter near Madison, Wisconsin.
Reports indicate there are at least multiple wounded and there is at least one gunmen who opened fire at a Middleton office complex where several businesses are located.

Individuals are being evacuated from the office complex and the FBI is on scene.
Schools have been placed on lockdown and area residents have been instructed to shelter in place.
