According to CBS News, Cassie Barker, the pregnant ex-officer, was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison.
She pled guilty in March as part of a plea deal.
Her attorney says the Barker’s unborn child will be given up for adoption. There are no details on who the father is.

A former Long Beach police officer admitted on Monday that she was having sex with her supervisor while her 3-year-old daughter died in her hot patrol car in 2016.
Cassie Barker pleaded to a reduced charge of manslaughter as part of a plea deal with the state.
According to the Sun Herald, Baker could face 20 years in prison when she is sentenced on April 1st.
Barker said she left her daughter Cheyenne strapped in a car seat inside her running patrol car for four hours while she had sex with her supervisor at his Mississippi home.
The heat index reached over 100 degrees that day.
Long Beach police chief immediately fired both Barker and her supervisor.
