UPDATE: The deputy who wash shot this morning in Baytown, TX has died from his wounds. He has been identified as Asst. Chief Deputy Clint Greenwood, a 30-year law enforcement veteran.

A Texas lawman was shot in Harris County earlier this morning behind a courthouse and has been flown to a Houston hospital, officials say.
HSCO Deputy Constable Clint Greenwood was shot behind the Baytown Courthouse, with the suspect still at large. The deputy’s condition is not known at this time
A local high school has been placed on lockdown, though no students have been injured.
According to Chron, helicopters from both Houston PD and state agencies have been circling overhead and law enforcement has been scouring local neighborhoods for the suspect.
