Update: 11:32 a.m. The school shooter is deceased.
Update: 11:12 a.m. – A school resource officer is being credited with stopping a school shooting at Great Mills High School in Maryland.
Officials stated the suspect entered a hallway and shot a female and male student before being shot by the officer. All three students are in critical condition.
The officer was reportedly uninjured.

Officials have confirmed school shooting has taken place at Great Mills High School in southeast Maryland.
Multiple people were reported wounded, according to NBC Washington.
According to a live report from the scene by a student who is sheltering in a classroom and speaking with CNN, up to seven people, including students, have been shot. One is deceased. These are unconfirmed reports as always in these scenarios, the initial number of people reported injured and deceased changes as first responders clear the scene.
The Sheriff is reporting that the incident is now contained.
Parents are told to not come to the area and to pick up their students at nearby Leonardtown High School.
