Two North Carolina women were arrested on child abuse charges Tuesday, related to a Facebook video showing the two women giving marijuana to small children.
The children -aged 18 months, 2 and 3 years of age- were featured on a Facebook video, smoking marijuana given to them by Michaela Pearson and Candice Little.
According to Fox 8, the two women were arrested by the Winston-Salem police and remain behind bars.
While marijuana and (its byproducts) is legal in some states for child consumption under medical pretenses, North Carolina is not among them.
Pearson and Little are each charged with felony child abuse and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
