An internal investigation has been launched after a local news affiliate got ahold of a picture of several officers at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall pretending to beat a fellow officer. Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall officers are responsible for patrolling Arlington National Cemetery.

Two of the officers have been placed on administrative leave according to Fox 5.

The photo was taken while the officers were working on Thanksgiving Day, while most Americans were home with their families.

A spokesperson for the base said the officers were “horsing around” and that their conduct constituted “unprofessional behavior.”

  1. And I’m sure the spokesperson was at home with their family. They were merely trying to lighten up the day that they were not home with their families. Some people should NEVER be put in a position of authority, it just goes to their head!!!
