Video is emerging online of two uniformed NYPD officers smoking a hookah out of a marked patrol vehicle.
It’s not known whether the officers were on break.
Footage of the smoke break has since gone viral on multiple social media platforms.
Without digging into NYPD policies, it’s generally prohibited or discouraged for uniformed law enforcement officers to smoke in public while in uniform.
Smoking a hookah out of a marked unit is also probably a violation.
