An NYPD officer was run down in the Bronx on Tuesday morning, in what appears to be a deliberate case of attempted vehicular homicide and hit & run.
The officer was filmed on camera as a dark-colored vehicle slammed into him in the middle of an intersection, making no attempt to slow down or stop.
“That’s a f***ing cop!” a woman is heard saying on the video. “Oh sh**!”
The officer, reported to be a sergeant with several years of experience, was immediately swept up by his fellow officers and rushed to a treatment center.
According to Fox News, the sergeant is in serious but stable condition with unspecified injuries.
The NYPD have no leads on suspects at this time.
