Police say a man threw stolen steaks at officers during a high-speed chase in east Texas, after stealing the beef products from a local Wal Mart.
According to CBS7, authorities say the man initiated the pursuit around 11AM on Wednesday, with the chase spanning over two counties.
East Mountain Patrol Sergeant Marc Nichols claims that during the 100 MPH chase, one of the steaks thrown out of the suspect’s vehicle hit his patrol car, in what may be the safest incident to date of a vehicle hitting Grade-A beef at high speed.
The suspect was apprehended in Upshur County, with no officers being injured in the pursuit.
