A Tennessee woman is facing a slew of serious charges after allegedly running down a Morristown Police officer with her vehicle.

Connie Jeanene Davis is being charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and evading arrest after attacking MPD Corporal David Klein on Sunday afternoon.

Klein attempted to remove Davis from her vehicle at the scene of a domestic call. Unwilling to go with Corporal Klein, Davis threw her vehicle into reverse and accelerated, knocking Klein to the ground and running him over.

Officers took Davis into custody as Klein was rushed to a Knoxville hospital, where he underwent surgery that night.

According to Knoxnews.com, Klein remains in jail, her bond set at $300,000.
