Several Knoxville, Tennessee police officers are being praised all over social media after they comforted a little boy whose mother was arrested.

A series of photos, showing the officers giving the boy a Happy Meal and other snacks, was posted to the dept’s official Facebook page. It has already received nearly 4,000 likes and has been shared over 2,000 times.

The boy’s face was blurred out in the photos, but he reportedly took the items being offered by the cops, eagerly. The child was not hurt at all, but has been turned over to his grandmother, KPD wrote in the Facebook post.

Police pulled his mother over Wednesday night outside a Walgreens and arrested her for driving under the influence.

The officers, who reported being “heartbroken” over the incident, were identified as Sgt. Eastridge, Officer Morgan and Officer Ayers.
