A teacher in Florida resigned after it was discovered she was having steamy video chats with a prisoner during school hours.

Franklin County teacher Donna Barber, 52, no longer teaches after her virtual trysts were uncovered by the local sheriff’s office.

Barber was frequently seen disrobing for inmate Lawrence Ray during their chats.

According to the New York Post, Franklin County Sheriff A.J. Smith assigned a staffer to monitor the video chats of inmates and decided to take the matter to the public.

“I think parents have a right to know who is teaching their children,” Smith told The Post. “That’s why I released this.”

The video got over 25,000 views before it was taken down, largely due to an unruly comment thread.

“Jail is not a resort,” Smith said. “People in jail need to abide by the rules, you have to have order. Otherwise, you can have chaos and it can be dangerous for the staff that has to deal with the inmates.”

While the local state attorney admitted that there are no grounds to pursue criminal charges against Barber, the school district opened its own investigation.

Facing termination, Barber decided it was smarter to resign.
