A Winston-Salem language arts teacher has been charged with “aiding a juvenile student to possess” after police say she stored a gun in her classroom for two students.

According to the Winston-Salem Journal, Sarah Wilson apparently found one of the students with the handgun and instead of taking it away, she stored it for the student and gave it back to them at the end of the day.

Police found out about the incident while investigating a viral video showing two students with a gun on campus.

Both high school students have also been arrested.

Wilson has been suspended from the school for the time being.
