The takedown of a Minnesota man who attempted to take a taser off of a Duluth Police officer was caught on film- and is now making its rounds on the internet.
The incident took place on Friday at the Tri Towers apartments in Duluth, when police were dispatched to the call of a trespasser.
The suspect, who is 32-years old and has not been formally identified, managed to wrestle the less-lethal device from an officer’s gun belt and proceeded to point it at another officer.
According to CBS3, the suspect did not manage to get a shot off and was soon disarmed. He now faces charges of disarming a police officer, obstruction, fifth-degree assault, and fleeing on foot.
