A Phoenix man and woman thought they were sly as they took two guns from a pawn shop and casually walked out of the store. They didn’t count on a quick response from the police and how things ended.

According to Fox 10, Guy Vogel Jr. and Felicia Evans committed the robbery on January 27th. Witnesses saw the two grab the guns and walk out and alerted the store owner and police.

Officers then found the two walking down a sidewalk and confronted the armed suspects.

An officer used a concussion grenade to stun the two and began moving in. Vogel then got in front of a truck, began smacking the hood, and flashed the gun in an attempt to steal the vehicle. That’s when officers drew their weapons and fired a couple of shots.

Vogel was shot and transported to the hospital, where he later died. Evans was arrested without incident.
