Officers say 26-year old Tieren Watson was taken into custody at the America’s Best Inn, in Little Rock, without incident.  Photos taken at the time of the arrest show Watson wearing a t-shirt saying “you can run but you can’t hide.”

According to USA Today, it’s still unclear if Watson was already wearing the shirt when officers apprehended him. Some reports say he was shirtless when handcuffed, and that he put it on afterwards, perhaps explaining why it looks like he has no arms in the picture.

Police say Watson got into an argument days earlier with another person at a home in Benton.  Officers say he shot the victim, who is now in a hospital in serious condition.

Watson is charged with first degree battery, 6 counts of aggravated assault, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, and possession of a firearm, according to Benton PD.
