A murder suspect in Michigan has been taken into custody after initiating a shootout with police earlier this morning.

Adam Kenneth Nolin became a wanted man after a homicide in the town of Wyoming earlier today, and was spotted around 10:30 AM.

Grand Rapids Police engaged Nolin shortly after discovering him, and managed to bring him down in a creative way.

According to FOX17, when Nolin got out of his pickup and began shooting at police in an attempt to flee, a Grand Rapids Police vehicle rammed the suspect from behind, taking Nolin down with righteous fury.

Police report that Nolin was taken to the hospital via ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is underway. It is unknown if anyone else was injured in the exchange.
