A Texas lawman from Fayette County is in hot water after his texting-while-driving habits were caught on film- from the back seat of his patrol vehicle.
The deputy was exposed by John Glover, who was arrested by the deputy for misdemeanor theft (pawning a stolen item).
Initially, Glover had been cuffed from behind by the deputy, but after complaints of aching wrists, the deputy allowed him to be restrained from the front.
Quick to “repay the favor,” Glover took out his phone and recorded the deputy texting while driving.
According to News4SanAntonio, the deputy is being disciplined for his negligence.
