Following a smash-and-grab crime, where the suspect left a key piece of evidence, officers were able to nab a wanted felon.
While breaking the glass at Sue’s Fashion on LaFayette street in Nashville, Steven Spivey cut himself and lost the tip of his finger.
A former employee of the store, Spivey was identified as the suspect on surveillance video, according to News 5.
When Metro Nashville Police caught up with Spivey, he did indeed have that injury to his hand- the local station reported.
About a week before the latest incident at the fashion shop, Spivey allegedly burglarized a local Subway store too.
He’s now charged with multiple counts of theft and vandalism.
