A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy was able to track and catch a man who had been avoiding the law for nearly six months.
In newly released dash and body cam video, a deputy was able to stop Hershell McCorvey from getting away in his Mercury Grand Marquis by performing a pit maneuver.
McCorvey’s car spun so hard that it created a light show with all of the sparks flying.
He then got out and started to run away from the deputy.
The deputy then let his K-9 officer OTOW loose.
K-9 OTOW was able to grab onto McCorvey and bring him down.
He faces fleeing and eluding, drug possession, and other charges.
