Florida officers worn out by the hurricane season got a delicious reprieve today, thanks to America’s favorite chicken-based fast food chain.
According to the Coral Springs Police Department Facebook page, “Our Human Resources Manager went to Chick-Fil-A this morning to purchase breakfast for our 911 Communications Center. After ordering two dozen breakfast sandwiches, two boxes of coffee and two dozen fruit cups she pulled out her credit card to pay, the manager just walked away and began working on the order and once complete, she tried to pay once again and was refused.”
When pressed to accept payment, the manager said, “We are here for our First Responders”.
CSPD responded by saying “Chick-fil-A of Coral Springs, we can not thank you enough for your generosity. Many of the 911 Dispatchers you fed left their families days ago and have yet to go home.”
