A South Carolina boy who impressed a Greenville police officer with his sweet dance moves was given a “thriller” of a surprise on Monday.
12-year-old Javon Dendy was caught dancing by Greenville County Police officer Kawain Harrison while officers were conducting a service call last weekend. Impressed with the kid’s moves, Harrison uploaded a video of Dendy’s skill to the internet, where it was viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
After the call, Harrison recalled how Dendy said he wanted to one day wear a jacket patterned after the one Michael Jackson wore in his “Thriller” music video. Taking this into account, Harrison surprised Dendy (on the 9th anniversary of Jackson’s death) with a jacket of his very own.
According to WSPA, the young lad wishes to be a dancer and singer. Since the video went viral, the Southern Elite Dance Company has offered Dendy a full dancing scholarship.
