A statue honoring Brian A. Terry, a border patrol officer killed in the line of duty, was unveiled over the weekend. According to Fox News Insider, Terry was killed during a confrontation with five heavily-armed men suspected of trafficking drugs.
The border patrol station on Naco Highway that houses the statue was renamed after Terry and the statue’s design was inspired by a photo of Terry during border patrol Tactical Unit training. Terry’s family shared the photo, along with others in a video on the Brian Terry Foundation Facebook page.
