As riots, lootings and protests erupt across the nation over the death of a man in the custody of the Minneapolis Police custody, one California man learned the hard way that jumping on a police car is not the way to go.
The incident took place in Los Angeles, when a crowd of protesters took over part of a motorway and surrounded two California Highway Patrol cruisers.
Causing significant damage to the vehicles, the protesters continued to become more violent.
Suddenly, one protester smashed out the back window of a vehicle, prompting the patrolmen to exit the area.
The protesters seems surprised that the police were fleeing, and one individual -who jumped up on the hood- suddenly found himself being run over by the very cruiser he attacked.
The extent of the man’s injuries is unknown, though Yahoo News reports that he was being treated.
