A female rapper by the name of ‘Cardi B’ tweeted out accusations of police brutality Tuesday evening, then deleted the tweets and refused to answer questions about her allegations.
“I can’t believe this cop put me on a choke hole just now sh#t is crazy these NY cops don’t know how to do they job f#@k 12,” the ‘Bodak Yellow’ singer tweeted. When asked if the officer was white, Cardi B tweeted back, “yeup, he was.”
However when contacted by The Mirror, the NYPD stated they have ‘no record or any other information to support the validity of her claim.’
Since deleting the wild accusations Cardi B and her representatives have not replied to requests for comment or further information on her claims.
It would seem odd that her tweets were deleted after they quickly got thousands of likes. It would also seem odd that she wouldn’t file a report or contact the NYPD about her alleged interaction. Further, it would seem odd that neither she nor her representatives are commenting on the racially charged, inflammatory tweets.
She does have a new single out that she needs to promote however.
