Rap video leads to arrest of 20 gang members in Texas

Twenty gang members who made a rap video in a Houston park earlier this year have been arrested on firearm charges.

The gang members were were openly brandishing the guns, some of which were stolen, when officers arrived on scene – which was also just after a nearby elementary school was getting out.

Some were arrested on scene, but many fled, leaving about a dozen loaded guns and drugs, according to Click2Houston.

Two months after the March incident however, the rap video was released on YouTube, garnering 2 million views.

Police then used the video to track down those who had escaped the scene and charged 20 people with illegal possession of a weapon.

Several are still wanted by authorities.
