A police officer in Georgia has resigned after multiple videos showing sexual misconduct went viral on TikTok.
Millen Police Chief Dwayne Herrington admitted to knowing about a video related to MPD Officer Larry Thompson’s on-the-job sexcapades, and added that Thompson resigned before a meeting could be arranged between them.
Video was taken of Thompson’s police vehicle from a high vantage point, hidden away behind a treeline with another car.
According to WRDW, Thompson had a history of misconduct, to include a negligent discharge of his duty weapon, a fatal crash and harassing an ex.
The TikTok video went viral on the 20th of March, and Thompson resigned a day later.

Thompson’s actions will not appear on the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council’s Records due to his resignation taking place before any punitive action could be executed.
