A female police officer in Oklahoma is fighting for her recovery after she was brutally attacked by a suspect- and it was all caught on body cam.

Oklahoma City Police Sergeant Morgan Reynolds was investigating a domestic violence dispute last Thursday when she found herself being attacked by DeAngelo Wright, who was gathering his things when she asked him to put his hands behind his back.

Wright savagely beat Reynolds, even long after she went unconscious.

After incapacitating the officer, the suspect then assaulted the lady of the house before making his escape.

According to KOKO5, the suspect was later apprehended.

Wright reportedly has a history of fighting with law enforcement and is currently in jail on a 10 million dollar bond.

“A background check found that Wright also had two active felony warrants for kidnapping, and aggravated assault and battery. Per the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Wright has previous state convictions for several crimes including Domestic Abuse, 2nd Degree Burglary, and Carrying a Firearm After Previous Conviction,” Police Activity reports.

The Oklahoma City Police Department recently released the body camera footage, and it has been making its rounds on the internet.
