Attacks against Asians in New York City continue to make headlines, this time following an attack in Manhattan.

The incident, which took place on October 31, involved an unidentified black woman who approached an Asian victim and began making racist statements.

After saying what she felt needed to be said, the assailant attacked the 26-year-old victim, striking her in the back of the head.

The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

According to PIX11, the NYPD Hate Crimes unit has become involved.

No arrests have been made.
