The Vernon (CA) Police Department’s newest recruit doesn’t yet have a name, so his co-workers have taken to social media armed with a few adorable pictures to solve the problem.
“Santa came early,” they wrote on Facebook. We picked up a new recruit. “He’s a bit hairier than most and he’s not much of a runner but he’s got a big heart and has a knack for making everyone smile. But he needs a name. Help us with your suggestions,” they added on Instagram with a few hashtags like #morethancops, #humanizethebadge and #vernonpd.
So what’s a good name for an English Bulldog police officer? Bobby? Butterman? Or perhaps we forget his breed and just go with an American name.. Drebin? McClane? Riggs?? So many possibilities. We’ll go with Murtaugh, but are looking forward to seeing the suggestions.
